No matter your level of fitness, everyone can benefit from using a Personal Trainer. You will fulfill your potential and so much quicker with a well educated and motivational PT. Having someone you can turn to for fitness/health advice and support at any time is invaluable.
Beginners will learn new skills and gain knowledge, and even if you’ve been training for years you may well be stuck in a rut or have plateaued. A fresh approach can make the world of difference in helping you to achieve your goals.
Anyone and everyone. Young, old, complete beginner, elite athlete, male, female – The principles of fitness are the same, the only difference is in how we apply them.
We’ll work out your current fitness level during the assessment and create a training program based around the results. If you are a complete beginner, or it’s been a while since you exercised, then your first few sessions will be at a much lower intensity, only increasing once you are completely ready both physically and mentally.
We offer a free 30 minute consultation which includes an analysis of your current diet, fitness and lifestyle. We will talk about your goals and give you some feedback on how we can achieve them. Then it’s up to you to decide if you like what you hear and want to commit to a training program with True Fitness.

Your sessions will take place in our fully equipped private studio gym in Kilmarnock. This isn’t a walk in gym so quite often you’ll have the place to yourself.
We’ll do our best to work out a time that suits you. We are open every day Monday to Friday and for a few hours at the weekends.
Clothing should be comfortable and allow you to move freely. You will get warm while exercising so removable layers are advisable. Suitable footwear such as trainers. Bring a bottle of water and small towel with you as well.
Each session will be tailored towards the individual to make sure that it is in line with the goals that you have set out and will involve body weight, free weights and cardio exercises with a good warm up and cool down at the beginning and end of each session. We take on board your exercise likes/dislikes and current fitness levels to ensure that, although it can be hard work at times, you enjoy every workout. The overall session is 60 minutes long.
That’s up to you. It goes without saying that you will see much quicker results with 2-3 workouts per week than just one, however we will create a training schedule around you and the time you have available to train both at our premises and on your own.
You should see, and equally importantly, feel the results within 4-6 weeks, particularly if you are new to exercise and are consistently putting in the effort. The closer you stick to the training program, the quicker you will make progress.
All payments must be made in advance of each session or block booking via BACS, Paypal or Cash. Unfortunately there are no refunds once payment is made and sessions are booked. See HERE for booking.
We are unable to process refunds for both personal training and class bookings.
Class Bookings Cancellation Policy:
We will normally be unable to reschedule a missed class session regardless of length of notice given. We may review in exceptional circumstances at our discretion.
Personal Training Cancellation Policy:
PT sessions can be rescheduled if more than 24 hours notice is given, otherwise the session is charged as normal.

I started training with Robert 1-2-1 just after he started up his business True Fitness. I’d had a long absence from any consistent training due to lack of motivation and my goals were to feel motivated to train, improve fitness and lose weight. Well, over a year on and I am training at least three times a week, I’ve lost a stone in weight and my fitness has gone through the roof. I am now even playing competitive squash in a league.
With consistent training I have gone from a base line of nothing to three sessions a week and now two games of Squash. Robert is now starting to work his magic with my daughter.
